CreateA Artist Residency 2022
CreateA invites artists from diverse practices to apply for a 6 month residency with the company.
This residency offers the opportunity to work with the Ensemble to create new work. This could be audio based, movement based, film, visual art, writing or any other arts practice. The residency is a paid opportunity that includes a budget for materials. This is an opportunity to extend the artist’s practice, to undertake research and development and to experience inclusive working practices.
Deaf and disabled artists are encouraged to apply for this residency.
CreateA’s Performing Ensemble meets weekly in workshop sessions to develop work and rehearse. It is envisaged that the resident artist will spend some of their time in these workshops and some time working independently.
